DAY 1! I woke up like this!

It was around 5 am that I realized I was awake.
I rolled around for another half an hour or so when I remembered, it's DAY# 1!
I'm awake early, and I have just enough time to get in a 30 minute workout! Yeah! Why am I so excited, I have no idea but I am. I'm organized and familiar with what I'll be doing for the next 21 days. I spent the last 2 weeks trying everything. The meals, Shakeology and I even tried every workout. I got my self a nice water bottle and started drinking more water.
I'm feeling really prepared and hyped!
I'm going to really do this.

Watch me.

21 Day Fixin it- Getting Organized & Cooking

My children are driving me crazy!
With all of the snow days and their constant need for entertainment or audience, we needed something for them to do.
So I put them to work.

I found this calendar on line here. I will be using it to plan my week of meals.

So here are the meals I have so far.
Asian chicken thighs, with rice and kale.
I swapped the kale for mixed greens.
This is 1 Red, 1 Green and 1 Yellow

This is the same chicken made into a salad with apples, sunflower seeds, and currants.

Tomorrow is DAY1
WISH ME LUCK!

21 Day Fixin' It

Hi and hello!
I'm back with something new to talk about.
I'm gonna get my self in shape.
I wish I had  a ton more enthusiasm about it,
but I know this won't be a cake walk.
So I  found myself a coach, Amy P and I signed up for the 21day fix beach body program.
(Click either of these links to meet Amy or order the 21 day fix deal I got)

Welp the box arrived a few days ago and I'm finally opening it.
Not pictured is the big bag of shakeology shake mix. This is the basic plan.
Eat all your meals from these containers and use the included work out videos.

I read through all the material and I have to start by figuring out how many of each container I can eat.
They have provided a formula to figure out your calorie intake.

I multiply my weight (157 X 11= 1,727)
which gives me my Caloric Baseline.
Then I add (1,727+400= 2,127)
that gives me my Caloric Need.

Then I subtract (2,127-750 = 1,377) to get my Calorie Target.

So my number is 1,377!

I'm ready to eat!

 I get
3 Green
2 Fruit
4 Red
2 Yellow
1 Blue
1 Orange
2 Tsp oil/nut or seed butter

I still have to get a menu together, grocery shop, cook and start Exercising.
This is already feeling like it's going to be a lot of work, but I'm not complaining-not yet!
Stay tuned and if your interested in checking out the 21 Day fix here's a video.

Grateful for Groceries

I'm so Grateful  , aren't you?

Take a look at other families around the world. Check out what they buy in a week. Notice what they are able to buy with their money.
It's so interesting, and humbling.
The conveniences we have.
Our variety of choices.
I'm very humbled.
A lot of families in the pictures seem very fortunate, but what about Ecuador or Chad?
Kuwait has subsidized groceries, and who knew they ate fries, and cornflakes.
It's fascinating. What about all the soda everyone seems to drink, wow!
We rarely drink soda at my house, I had no idea it was a world wide indulgence.
I also realize it's a luxury that my family can change our diet for a week and just "go vegan," and for the fun of it, at that.

Enjoy your simple blessings.

Lysol Toilet Cleaner Blew My Mind!!

OMG! ohmygodohmygodohmygawd!!!

I'm not ashamed to admit, (not any more) I had the worst mineral stains in the bottom of my toilet.
It was one of those things you over look when you buy a house. You just figure, I'll do a better job cleaning when the house is mine. The Realtor said it was a mineral deposit, my kids said it looked like poop.
Then 4 years go by and you still haven't gotten that brown stain out of the toilet.
I had tried everything to clean it and had finally given up.
A friend suggested Lysol toilet cleaner "The Black Bottle!"
 Mind BLOWN. BOOM!!!

My toilet is white again, brand new!
I have never used a product that delivered like this.
I just keep thinking it really worked, it worked.
And of course I'm talking about a toilet, not your ordinary reason to get so excited about.
But if you have a toilet like mine was.

Or have ever used a toilet with dark brown or yellow stains in it,
you know how gross and embarrassing that is.
I tried every cleaner you can think of, steel wool, citric acid, and even coca cola.
Nothing worked, scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing worked.
I had resigned myself to just getting a new toilet entirely.
My 3 year old flat out refused to use that bathroom!
She would say, "no yucky," and run away.
Who can blame her.
But now, it's totally white!

BRIGHT WHITE!!
It makes the whole bathroom feel cleaner!
I swear on my life this is the same toilet!!
Lysol should change the color of this bottle to GOLD!!
Or, they should make one of those commercials
where I go door to door asking people to let me clean their toilet with this stuff!
I like sharing a sure thing!!
BAM! Sure thing.
Thank you Lysol, OMG THANK YOU!

This is my unsolicited opinion.
I paid $1.87 at Target for Lysol Complete Clean Toilet Cleaner.
I wish Lysol would send me a few free bottles, I'd give them to everyone and anyone I meet!!

Special Thank You to JK for hipping me to this!
Thanks Buddy! :)

Sesame Street Live at Stabler Arena

The Stage was set last Friday night for a great time at Stabler Arena.
Sesame Street Live came to the Lehigh Valley for lots of fun and rave reviews from the little ones.

In Super Grover's Adventure Abbie, Telly, Zoe and Elmo fill in for Super Grover when he losses his super hero powers.

Along the way they help all the Sesame Street characters solve their problems and figure out why Grover has lost his super powers.

They discover the secret to restoring Grover's super powers, sleep, nutritious food and exercise.
My girls were so tickled to hear that! They said, "I knew that already!"

The show was magical for the girls, they loved seeing their favorite charcters and following the story.
I love that Stabler Arena doesn't have a bad seat!
They are a really comfortable intimate venue, and anytime they have any shows coming I love to come out and see them.
I'm never disappointed!
My only complaint would be these balloons!
Who wants to feel guilt ed into buying your child a $20 mylar balloon! NOt me.
Other than that,
A great time was had by all. Alivia also loved the popcorn.

Aneley is now an official super hero since she's learned the secrets for success.

Love Sesame Street LIVE!
Love Stabler Arena!

I was not compensated for this post. I received tickets to the show to write a review.
All opinions expressed are strictly my own.

Pirate Party

 My youngest daughter
loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
So what better way to celebrate her birthday than to build her a pirate ship of her own.

I got all the boxes for free at my local appliance store.

Tick-Tock Crock was a birthday gift from the Disney Store.

This is the view from the helm.

Everyone got to pick their pirate wear, which I ordered here.

We made this Welcome sign with Cardboard and computer print outs.

I used red masking tape to make the pirate map dotted lines.

We had a light lunch

 Pirate Ship Cake

Pirate Princess

 Birthday Girl!

The Cake and the pirate ship were a hit!!
